Hi, I’m Girish.
Like many of us, I grew up with a simple formula for success: “Study hard, get a good job, and make money.” This was the roadmap—handed down by society, schools, and family.
So, I followed it. I worked hard, landed a good job, and started earning. I thought I was on the right path.
In 2008, I made what I thought was the ultimate “grown-up” decision—I bought a flat. It felt like the final stamp of being “settled.”
But soon, I realized that decision had little to do with what I truly wanted. I bought that flat because it seemed like the thing I was supposed to do—a symbol of security. A mark of success.
Instead of bringing security, that decision became a weight.
I felt trapped… financially strained… lost.
“Debt piled up. I maxed out my credit cards. At my lowest, I even had to sell my wife’s jewelry just to stay afloat.”
Those were dark days. Each morning felt heavier than the last as I sank deeper into frustration, debt, and shame.
My confidence shattered. My self-esteem hit rock bottom.
Then, a friend insisted I attend a three-day workshop. I was reluctant, but they wouldn’t take no for an answer.
Those three days transformed my life.
For the first time, I asked myself questions I’d never dared to consider:
Through that journey, I discovered something profound: Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world.
Money was never the problem. The real challenge was my mindset and my relationship with money. I realized that my financial struggles weren’t just about numbers—they were about the way I thought, felt, and behaved around money.
“I saw that money wasn’t the end goal. It was a tool—a powerful one.”
Until then, I’d only seen money as a means of survival or a symbol of success I felt pressured to chase. But now, I understood it could be so much more.
In 2014, I started BeyondMoney with a simple mission:
“To empower people to use money as a tool, not a destination.
At BeyondMoney, we believe wealth isn’t just about accumulating money—it’s about building a life filled with peace, prosperity, and abundance.
We understand that financial success is a journey, not a one-time goal. And that journey is unique for everyone.
Because I’ve been there. I’ve made the mistakes. I’ve felt the fear. And I’ve learned how to overcome it.
Now, it’s my mission to help others avoid the same pitfalls and unlock the power of their money to create the life they’ve always dreamed of.
